Chatooga sec 3

Postby liggett1 » Fri Apr 06, 2012 12:48 pm

Hello all,
My name is Charlie Smith, and I am new to the board and pretty new to whitewater paddling.
I took Scott Adams 101 course last year and have been loving it ever since. Last paddle was
French Broad sec IX with Palmetto paddlers 3-31-12.
I have always wanted to paddle is Chatooga sect 3. Is anyone interested in doing this section in the next 4 to 6 weeks? I'm thinking that any later in the year and the water will be too low for a good run.

I dt thnk water is good until its over 2.5 ft, but have some friends that will be going up and camping in 2 weeks. You're welcome to come as long as you aren't offended by drinking.
There's the smart way, and then there's my way.
